Well, I had this great one-year-on-T post all planned out... and instead of typing it I decided to fly to an interview.

And ride a boat to an interview.

Yep.

Still! I may have one, if not both (er... that is to say "may be offered and have my choice") of these jobs. Finally! But that's a post for another time, as well.

Let's just say it's been an AWESOME and ZANY one year, particularly as I decided to do approximately fifty million other things as I transitioned. The post is on the way, no worries--it may just be a week late, which is par for the course for me.

Gonna be at Emerald City Comicon tomorrow, so if you're in the area and attending and you see a short dude with red-and-yellow Tigers (the el jay name has been incorrect for years), feel free to say "hi"!

The usual!

Well, off for a week without teh intertubes, fondling gemstones FOR BUSINESS. Mainly I'm going to miss my connectivity because I won't get to read all the rejection emails which are sure to pile up in the duration, but I'll miss you dudes, too!

Things will be +300 for a while, so leave a comment if anything zany happened in your life!

I am off to The Beach, people.

And by "beach," I mean "icy tundra," of course--this is Washington. But yeah. Pictures later?

Apparently we're driving through Forks, which prompted this discussion with mom:

Mom: Oooh, we'll have to stop at their one grocery store. Remember it? The one that sells everything?
Red: Haha, oh yeah... It's been a while!
Mom: Oh, but maybe there's more stuff now! Maybe you should get a t-shirt!
Red: ...??
Mom: You know, those Twilight books take place there.
Red: ...Mom, I like that you know twice as much about pop culture than me.

Oh, well! I'll be sure to take pictures of all the glittery Mormon Sue-pires for y'all.

Well, so technically, I've been back since Friday. But the "night of passing out, followed by a night of beer and Mario Paint, followed by a night of passing out" cycle is a sacred one after any vacation.

Despite my typical will to forget to post photos, the dodgy wireless is working today, so I guess I haven't any excuses.

So, without further ado, the el jay cut:

In but only a quarter of a century, I have seen so much death. A dial-up breaking deal of photos warning. And, uh, perhaps a BONUS WARNING FOR TAXIDERMY is in order. I mean, sure, I might mention getting Mario Paint and P3:FES or something, but it's nothing so important that, should you be likely to vomit over elephant footstools, you need to click. )

And then I flew home to find P3:FES waiting for me. Man, I'd pimp the now-cheaper game to people, but I suppose it's rather impossible for anyone who knows me to have missed my GIANT MEGATEN HARD-ON by now. I'm still waiting to play it though.

After all, I haven't yet listened to that robot save my coloring nearly enough.

Well, 48 hours and 700 dollars later, I'm finally home!

Remind me to tell you about it sometime, huh?
